We are now in Dawson Creek BC, home of mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway. We've now traveled the entire length of the highway, north to south in 4 days. The Milepost says it's a 7-10 day trip. B laughed when I read that to her and said "They don't know us!"
We're in a campground that has grass and picnic tables, not just gravel. Tho' it's not hot, it's a lot warmer than Alaska and the town has normal stores like WalMart and Safeway - not just places like Tommy's General Store. Recently we're meeting more people heading up to Alaska than coming down and it's fun to be asked if we have any tips to share. Tomorrow on toward Jasper National Park (Canada).
